East Paris Baptist Church adheres to the 2000 version of the Baptist Faith and Message. You can view the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message at http://www.sbc.net/bfm/bfm2000.asp

East Paris Baptist Church also aligns itself with the Southern Baptist of Texas Convention (SBTC).

The SBTC exists to facilitate, extend and enlarge the Great Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist churches and associations of Texas, upon the authority of God’s inerrant Word to the glory of God the father, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

  • A focus on missions and evangelism in budgeting and staffing priorities
  • Networking and using volunteers and paid consultants to keep bureaucracy to a minimum
  • Striving to resource the needs of SBTC churches rather than to direct their ministries

MISSIONALLY FUNDED

  • Partnership with the Southern Baptist Convention through the traditional Cooperative Program
  • Utilizing the resources of the SBC agencies to maximize the ministry effectiveness of SBTC
