Our Adult Ministry is foundational to all that takes place at East Paris Baptist Church. From our young married to our oldest adults, bringing others into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and growing in our commitment to follow Him are primary emphases.
Our ministry to adults begins with life-changing Bible Study opportunities at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday morning. Our Sunday School provides small group Bible study and fellowship opportunity for all adults. The individual is important and our Sunday School is designed to minister to the needs of each individual.
The Discipleship Training program for adults provides significant opportunities for spiritual growth and development in the company of others with similar interests. Course offerings deal with the development of a devotional life, parenting skills, relational skills, some support group activities, development of ministry and leadership skills, and deepening our knowledge of God’s word and truth.
Classes meet at various times throughout the week and classes are coed unless otherwise indicated.

East Paris Baptist Church has an active Men’s Ministry that is interested in meeting the needs of today’s men and boys as they seek to become servant leaders in today’s families, churches, and communities. East Paris recognizes the importance of equipping men to be Godly leaders of their home and therefore strategically plan to help reach that goal.
The 222 Men’s Discipleship group (from 2 Timothy 2:2) meets weekly on Friday mornings at 5:55am at East Paris for a prayer breakfast and bible study. This ministry was established in 1999 and is still going strong with men from all over NE Texas and SE Oklahoma.
Men also have the opportunity to sign up for an in-depth spiritual leadership discipleship program led by our Senior Pastor Dr. Donnie Edwards. This group will go through the book ‘Spiritual Leadership’ by Henry and Richard Blackaby. The group meets on Monday’s at noon at East Paris Baptist Church. Lunch is provided for $5.
The Men’s Ministry also provides two different opportunities for Men to go through the ‘Men’s Fraternity’ study. This study is offered on Sunday Nights at 5:00pm (taught via DVD) or on Thursday Mornings at 6:00am (taught by Dr. Donnie Edwards).
Throughout the year the Men’s Ministry also host numerous events including a Men’s Conference with several well-respected speakers.
The Women’s Ministry has as its goal to establish programs, Bible studies and prayer groups that encourage and equips women to a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage maturity in their faith life. We strive to provide encouragement and information that would help us lead others to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and to provide opportunities for women to fellowship and get to know one another.
The Women’s Ministry promotes and hosts multiple bible studies each year that not only take place at East Paris Baptist Church but also take place at various church members homes.
Our Women’s Ministry also hosts several fun activities each year such as Bunko Night!
The Women’s Ministry also hosts a Women’s Conference every year at East Paris Baptist Church with speakers/personalities such as Shannon Ethridge, Lysa TerKeurst, and Charles Billingsley. More information on the 2012 Conference will be posted soon.
