Children

Children are an important part of the church family at East Paris Baptist Church. We believe that these early years are the best times for laying a firm foundation. Because we see each child as a unique individual developing spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and socially within the context of a unique family.  We feel that we have a responsibility to provide a variety of opportunities and experiences which minister to the child and his or her family.

The Sunday School is designed to provide teaching/learning opportunities that help each child to understand God’s message and plan of redemption for his own individual life, to discover Bible facts and truths and find ways for expressing God’s plan in his life day by day. Children are grouped according to birth date and school grade level.

Every Sunday Morning East Paris offers a K.I.D.S (Kids in Divine Service) Church Service that takes place during our Morning Worship time.

KIDS Church I – 3 and 4 year olds

KIDS Church II – Kindergarten- 3rd Grade.

Every Sunday Night at 5:15pm children can come and learn the importance of mission work as well as meet some current missionaries who are serving God across the country and world.

Every Sunday Night starting at 6:30 our Children have the opportunity to participate in ‘Children’s Choir’.

The East Paris Baptist Church AWANA program takes place on Wednesday Nights starting at 6:00pm and follows the Paris school calendar.

AWANA is an international, Bible-centered youth organization providing weekday clubs and programs for three year-olds through 6th grade. The acrostic AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed. (2 Timothy 2:15).

Each Wednesday evening a staff of approximately 50 trained and caring Christians assist and serve your child in one or more of the following areas. Games, Handbook, Bible Memory, and Mission training.
