Giving
Why We Give
Churches and Christian Organizations are often criticized for asking people to give tithes and offerings to their works. East Paris Baptist Church is not ashamed to ask its members to support the works of the church through their tithes and offerings; HOWEVER, it is not because God needs their money. Think about this: God owns everything… He can supply as much as is needed, from any source He may choose, and when He needs it, to carry out His work on earth.
For the believer, giving is an act of worship toward God, obedience to God, and faith in God. He promises that when we give to Him, He blesses by giving to us in return (Luke 6:38 & Malachi 3:10-12). Therefore, when we give our tithes and offerings to Him, it is more for our benefit than it is for God’s.
As you give your gift online, I encourage you to give as giving unto the Lord, with a worshipful heart, and with thanksgiving for all that God has blessed you with.

What Does This Go Towards
Every penny given will be focused towards our mission of Making Jesus Known. That includes staff salaries, church ministries, missions, building maintenance, supporting various organizations, and many other things as well.
