Mission & Vision

Jesus Christ had a physical body during His earthly ministry and accomplished His work of loving, saving, preaching, and serving up until He ascended back to heaven.  Today, the church is His spiritual body and continues His work until the time He comes to receive it unto Himself.

The vision of East Paris Baptist Church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ at every opportunity by using every means at its disposal.  EPBC desires to equip every member to be a messenger and facilitator of the love that Christ has for all, regardless of race, social status, country of origin, or background. Accomplishment of this will be evidenced by:

• A people who are fervent in prayer for one another as well as the lost around the world
• A people who are biblically literate and doctrinally sound in historic Baptist doctrine
• A people who are faithful in worship, Christ-like in character, and willing to serve in the work of the Kingdom of Christ

***It is our vision to engage every member into Kingdom opportunities, ministries and missions that aligns with their spiritual gifts. When we are engaged in the local church and its kingdom projects, we are fulfilling Jesus’ outline of the new testament church and believer (II Timothy 2:1-26).  We are then, Making Jesus Known!

The greatest Name in all history is Jesus Christ.  It is the mission of East Paris Baptist Church to make His Name and Message known, both locally and around the world.  Using every means available to us, we seek to make and mature disciples of Jesus Christ among all people groups, in fulfillment of The Great Commission (Acts 1:8) and The Great Commandment (Mark 12:29-31).
